Code § 8-151.08a","heading":"State safety oversight agency designation for DC Streetcar.","body":"DDOE is designated as the state safety oversight agency, as described in 49 U.S.C. § 5329(e) and regulations issued thereunder, for the DC Streetcar when:\n\n(1)\nThe Secretary of Transportation provides its approval of the operation of the District's state safety oversight program by the Department pursuant to 49 U.S.C. § 5329(e); and\n\n(2)\nThe Mayor publishes a notice in the District of Columbia Register:\n(A)\nStating that the approval referenced in paragraph (1) of this section was provided; and\n(B)\nIdentifying the date on which the Department shall assume the responsibility of serving as the state safety oversight agency.","path":["Title 8.
