Code § 8-1771.02","heading":"Scope.","body":"(a)\nThis chapter shall apply to the following types of new products sold, leased, rented, offered for sale, lease, or rent, or installed in the District of Columbia:\n(1)\nAir purifiers;\n(2)\nCommercial dishwashers;\n(3)\nCommercial fryers;\n(4)\nCommercial hot food holding cabinets;\n(5)\nCommercial steam cookers;\n(6)\nComputers and computer monitors;\n(7)\nFaucets;\n(8)\nHigh color rendering index lamps, cold temperature lamps, and impact-resistant fluorescent lamps;\n(9)\nMetal halide lamp fixtures;\n(10)\nPortable electric spas;\n(11)\nResidential ventilating fans;\n(12)\nShowerheads;\n(13)\nSingle-voltage external AC to DC power supplies;\n(14)\nSpray sprinkler bodies;\n(15)\nState-regulated general service lamps;\n(16)\nState-regulated incandescent reflector lamps;\n(17)\nUrinals and water closets;\n(18)\nWalk-in refrigerators or freezers;\n(19)\nWater coolers; and\n(20)\nAny other products designated by the Mayor in accordance with § 8-1771.04.\n\n(b)\nThis chapter shall not apply to:\n(1)\nNew products manufactured in the District of Columbia and sold outside the District of Columbia;\n(2)\nNew products manufactured outside the District of Columbia and sold at wholesale inside the District for final retail sale and installation outside the District of Columbia;\n(3)\nProducts installed in mobile manufactured homes at the time of construction; or\n(4)\nProducts designed expressly for installation and use in recreational vehicles.","path":["Title 8.
