Code § 8-1810","heading":"Animal population health and education program.","body":"(a)\nThe Mayor shall implement an animal population health and education program, which shall include the provision of:\n(1)\nAnimal care services, including:\n(A)\nLow-cost or no-cost preventive and emergency veterinary services; and\n(B)\nLow-cost or no-cost spay and neuter clinic services; and\n(2)\nEducational services, including with respect to:\n(A)\nPet care and safety, including pet care and safety in extreme weather conditions or emergencies; and\n(B)\nDistrict laws related to pet ownership.\n\n(b)\nThe Mayor may establish eligibility standards for animal care services provided pursuant to subsection (a)(1) of this section.","path":["Title 8.
