Code § 9-203.02","heading":"Methods of acquisition.","body":"Any land used for the purpose of opening, extending, widening, or straightening any street, minor street, or alley pursuant to § 9-203.01 may be acquired by:\n\n(1)\nPurchase;\n\n(2)\nCondemnation pursuant to Chapter 13 of Title 16; or\n\n(3)\nAcceptance by the Council of a dedication of land; provided, that if the land is to be acquired for a Federal Aid Highway project, the person offering to dedicate the land must be informed of his or her right to compensation for it.","path":["Title 9.
