C. § 8-603","heading":"Notice of proceeding [Effective Dec. 6, 2026].","body":"(a) The petitioner shall give notice of a proceeding to adjudicate parentage to the following individuals:\n(1) The individual who gave birth to the child, unless a court has adjudicated that the individual is not a parent;\n(2) An individual who is a parent of the child under this chapter;\n(3) A presumed, acknowledged, or adjudicated parent of the child; and\n(4) An individual whose parentage of the child is to be adjudicated.\n(b) An individual entitled to notice under subsection (a) of this section has a right to intervene in the proceeding.\n(c) Lack of notice required by subsection (a) of this section does not render a judgment void. Lack of notice does not preclude an individual entitled to notice under subsection (a) of this section from bringing a proceeding under § 8-611(b) of this title.","path":["Title 13.
