C. § 707","heading":"Rules and regulations of Department.","body":"(a) The Department of Health and Social Services shall promulgate regulations necessary to carry out the provisions of this subchapter, including:\n(1) Designation of reportable STIs or STDs.\n(2) Procedures around the verification of the diagnosis, the investigations made to determine the source of infection, and other appropriate actions to prevent or control the spread of a reportable STI or STD.\n(b) Regulations promulgated under this subchapter must be consistent with procedures established for communicable diseases in Chapter 5 of this title and with the nature and circumstances of the reportable STI or STD.\n(c) All rules and regulations made pursuant to this subchapter shall have the force and effect of law.\n(d) The Department of Health and Social Services shall create the written materials required under § 703A of this title.","path":["Title 16.
