Stat. § 607.1434","heading":"Alternative remedies to judicial dissolution.","body":"(1) In a proceeding under s. 607.1430, the court may, as an alternative to directing the dissolution of the corporation and upon a showing of sufficient merit to warrant such remedy:\n(a) Appoint a receiver or custodian during the proceeding as provided in s. 607.1432;\n(b) Appoint a provisional director as provided in s. 607.1435;\n(c) Order a purchase of the petitioning shareholder’s shares pursuant to s. 607.1436; or\n(d) Make any order or grant any equitable relief other than dissolution as in its discretion it may deem appropriate.\n(2) Alternative remedies, such as the appointment of a receiver or custodian, may also be ordered in the discretion of the court, upon a showing of sufficient merit to warrant such remedy, in advance of directing the dissolution of the corporation or, after a judgment of dissolution is entered, to assist in facilitating the winding up of the corporation.\nHistory.—s. 9, ch. 94-327; s. 193, ch. 2019-90.","path":["CHAPTER 607 FLORIDA BUSINESS CORPORATION ACT"],"source_url":"https://www.leg.state.fl.us/statutes/index.cfm?App_mode=Display_Statute\u0026URL=0600-0699/0607/0607.html","current_through":"2026 Florida Statutes","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T02:10:21Z","sha256":"3eab8d7d48edd7a921a691d910c073ef1b7409c8d799092727f8f4974ebfb1f8","source_id":"us-fl","stale":false,"prev":"us-fl/fla.-stat.-607.1433","next":"us-fl/fla.-stat.-607.1435"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
