Stat. § 651.1141","heading":"Immediate final orders.","body":"(1) The Legislature finds that the following actions constitute an imminent and immediate threat to the public health, safety, and welfare of the residents of this state:\n(a) The installation of a general partner of a provider or assumption of ownership or possession or control of 10 percent or more of a provider’s assets in violation of s. 651.024 or s. 651.0245;\n(b) The removal or commitment of 10 percent or more of the required minimum liquid reserve funds in violation of s. 651.035; or\n(c) The assumption of control over a facility’s operations in violation of s. 651.043.\n(2) If it finds that a person or entity is engaging or has engaged in one or more of the above activities, the office may, pursuant to s. 120.569, issue an immediate final order:\n(a) Directing that such person or entity cease and desist that activity; or\n(b) Suspending the certificate of authority of the facility.\nHistory.—s. 30, ch. 2019-160.","path":["CHAPTER 651 CONTINUING CARE CONTRACTS"],"source_url":"https://www.leg.state.fl.us/statutes/index.cfm?App_mode=Display_Statute\u0026URL=0600-0699/0651/0651.html","current_through":"2026 Florida Statutes","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T02:11:19Z","sha256":"74d792b8b40f77ad4364c45fd310b9f593f317de2951cd70c4bc506802b85ffd","source_id":"us-fl","stale":false,"prev":"us-fl/fla.-stat.-651.114","next":"us-fl/fla.-stat.-651.1151"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
