{"data":{"id":"us-ga/o.c.g.a.-10-4-173","jurisdiction":"us-ga","citation":"O.C.G.A. § 10-4-173","heading":"Local and state-wide membership fees.","body":"(a) The tobacco boards of trade in the several municipalities in Georgia are authorized to require as a condition to membership therein the payment of a reasonable fee which shall not exceed:\n(1) $50.00 in those municipalities in which less than 3 million pounds of tobacco was sold at auction during the year 1960;\n(2) $100.00 in those municipalities in which not less than 3 million pounds but less than 10 million pounds of tobacco was sold at auction during the year 1960;\n(3) $150.00 in those municipalities in which not less than 10 million pounds but less than 25 million pounds of tobacco was sold at auction during the year 1960;\n(4) $300.00 in those municipalities in which 25 million pounds or more of tobacco was sold at auction during the year 1960.\n(b) A state-wide corporation or association, as provided in this part, may require as a condition to membership therein the payment of a reasonable fee which shall not exceed $100.00 per 1 million pounds of producers’ tobacco sold at auction during the year preceding the year in which the fee is assessed.","path":["TITLE 10 Commerce and Trade","CHAPTER 4 Warehousemen","Article 3 Tobacco Warehousing","PART 3 Tobacco Warehousemen’s Associations"],"source_url":"https://archive.org/download/gov.ga.ocga.2018/release86.2022.11/gov.ga.ocga.title.10.odt","current_through":"Release 86 (2022-11)","vintage":"Public.Resource.Org bulk O.C.G.A., Release 86 (2022-11), retrieved 2026-09-17","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T19:34:57Z","sha256":"0a1c9409b2963a253d4b3e44854fc6ee8dd6bd88f67eb96502d7320b46792a67","source_id":"us-ga","stale":false,"prev":"us-ga/o.c.g.a.-10-4-172","next":"us-ga/o.c.g.a.-10-4-174"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
