However, for wards who have insufficient resources or income to pay the compensation provided for in Chapter 4 of this title, at the discretion of the probate court judge, a request for payment for the public guardian to the Division of Aging Services of the Department of Human Services, as provided for in Code Section 29-10-11, shall be made.
