{"data":{"id":"us-ga/o.c.g.a.-33-20c-4","jurisdiction":"us-ga","citation":"O.C.G.A. § 33-20C-4","heading":"Information and searchable format for directories; exclusion for dental plans.","body":"(a) The insurer shall make available through an online provider directory, for each network plan, the following information, in a searchable format:\n(1) For healthcare professionals:\n(A) Name;\n(B) Gender;\n(C) Contact information;\n(D) Participating office location or locations;\n(E) Specialty, if applicable;\n(F) Board certifications, if applicable;\n(G) Medical group affiliations, if applicable;\n(H) Participating facility affiliations, if applicable;\n(I) Languages spoken other than English by the healthcare professional or clinical staff, if applicable;\n(J) Tier; and\n(K) Whether they are accepting new patients;\n(2) For hospitals:\n(A) Hospital name;\n(B) Hospital type, such as acute, rehabilitation, children’s, or cancer;\n(C) Participating hospital location;\n(D) Hospital accreditation status;\n(E) Telephone number; and\n(F) Health benefit plan surprise bill rating; and\n(3) For facilities other than hospitals:\n(A) Facility name;\n(B) Facility type;\n(C) Types of services performed;\n(D) Participating facility location or locations; and\n(E) Telephone number.\n(b) Paragraphs (2) and (3) of subsection (a) of this Code section shall not apply to standalone dental plans.","path":["TITLE 33 Insurance","CHAPTER 20C Accurate Provider Directories"],"source_url":"https://archive.org/download/gov.ga.ocga.2018/release86.2022.11/gov.ga.ocga.title.33.odt","current_through":"Release 86 (2022-11)","vintage":"Public.Resource.Org bulk O.C.G.A., Release 86 (2022-11), retrieved 2026-09-17","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T19:34:57Z","sha256":"9ae9ade4c0be95a0b647c000a96476277f2926a461a4eed0a5cf9003c7ee1155","source_id":"us-ga","stale":false,"prev":"us-ga/o.c.g.a.-33-20c-3","next":"us-ga/o.c.g.a.-33-20c-5"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
