{"data":{"id":"us-ga/o.c.g.a.-40-10-7","jurisdiction":"us-ga","citation":"O.C.G.A. § 40-10-7","heading":"Specific authority and duties of Governor.","body":"Notwithstanding the provisions of Code Section 50-5-143, the Governor is authorized and granted the power to contract and to exercise any other powers which may be necessary in order to ensure that all departments of the state government and local political subdivisions participate to the fullest extent possible in the benefits available under the National Highway Safety Act of 1966 and similar federal programs of highway safety.
