{"data":{"id":"us-ga/o.c.g.a.-40-11-17","jurisdiction":"us-ga","citation":"O.C.G.A. § 40-11-17","heading":"Removal from private parking lot; fees; penalty.","body":"(a) It shall be unlawful for any person to remove, tow, or immobilize or cause to be removed, towed, or immobilized a motor vehicle left in a paid private parking lot between midnight and 9 A.M. of the following day. Nothing in this Code section shall prohibit the owner or operator of a paid private parking lot from charging a penalty for vehicles which remain in a paid private parking lot during such period without authorization. Such penalty shall not exceed $25.00 in excess of normal parking fees. No owner or operator of a paid private parking lot shall be liable for any damages to any motor vehicle remaining in a paid private parking lot during such period without authorization.
