{"data":{"id":"us-ga/o.c.g.a.-43-11a-5","jurisdiction":"us-ga","citation":"O.C.G.A. § 43-11A-5","heading":"Qualifications, appointment, and removal of board members.","body":"(a) Professional members of the board shall:\n(1) Be citizens of the United States and residents of this state;\n(2) Have engaged in the dietetic practice for compensation for not less than five years; and\n(3) Be licensed under this chapter.\n(b) Consumer members of the board shall be appointed by the Governor from the public at large, shall be citizens of the United States and residents of this state, and shall have no connection whatsoever with dietetic practice.\n(c) The Governor may remove members of the board, after notice and opportunity for hearing, for incompetence, neglect of duty, unprofessional conduct, conviction of any felony, failure to meet the qualifications of this chapter, or committing any act prohibited by this chapter.","path":["TITLE 43 Professions And Businesses","CHAPTER 11A Dietitians"],"source_url":"https://archive.org/download/gov.ga.ocga.2018/release86.2022.11/gov.ga.ocga.title.43.odt","current_through":"Release 86 (2022-11)","vintage":"Public.Resource.Org bulk O.C.G.A., Release 86 (2022-11), retrieved 2026-09-17","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T19:34:57Z","sha256":"d76b7d96249f16b5a1faa1358bb79435838a9357b886a6811c5f58fabaed9ca2","source_id":"us-ga","stale":false,"prev":"us-ga/o.c.g.a.-43-11a-4","next":"us-ga/o.c.g.a.-43-11a-6"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
