{"data":{"id":"us-ga/o.c.g.a.-43-27-1","jurisdiction":"us-ga","citation":"O.C.G.A. § 43-27-1","heading":"Definitions.","body":"As used in this chapter, the term:\n(1) “Administrator” means a person who operates, manages, supervises, or is in charge of a long-term care facility.\n(2) “Assisted living community” means a facility licensed pursuant to Code Section 31-7-12.2.\n(3) “Assisted living community administrator” means a person who operates, manages, supervises, or is in charge of an assisted living community.\n(4) “Board” means the State Board of Long-Term Care Facility Administrators.\n(5) “Long-term care facility” means a personal care home, an assisted living community, or a nursing home.\n(6) “Nursing home” has the same meaning as prescribed by the Department of Community Health in the rules and regulations for nursing homes.\n(7) “Nursing home administrator” means a person who operates, manages, supervises or is in charge of a nursing home.\n(8) “Personal care home” means a facility licensed pursuant to Code Section 31-7-12 which has 25 or more beds.\n(9) “Personal care home administrator” means a person who operates, manages, supervises, or is in charge of a personal care home.","path":["TITLE 43 Professions And Businesses","CHAPTER 27 Long-term Care Facility Administrators"],"source_url":"https://archive.org/download/gov.ga.ocga.2018/release86.2022.11/gov.ga.ocga.title.43.odt","current_through":"Release 86 (2022-11)","vintage":"Public.Resource.Org bulk O.C.G.A., Release 86 (2022-11), retrieved 2026-09-17","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T19:34:57Z","sha256":"5ed88f23fb836d073e901db8e240d9c6ceeae69db7b9b5ff0aa754c6dff676ea","source_id":"us-ga","stale":false,"prev":"us-ga/o.c.g.a.-43-26-65","next":"us-ga/o.c.g.a.-43-27-2"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
