{"data":{"id":"us-ga/o.c.g.a.-44-16-7","jurisdiction":"us-ga","citation":"O.C.G.A. § 44-16-7","heading":"Validation of environmental covenant.","body":"(a) A copy of an environmental covenant shall be provided in the manner required by the agency and shall establish proof of service to:\n(1) Each person that signed the covenant;\n(2) Each person holding a recorded interest in the real property subject to the covenant;\n(3) Each person in possession of the real property subject to the covenant;\n(4) Each municipality, county, consolidated government, or other unit of local government in which real property subject to the covenant is located;\n(5) Each owner in fee simple whose property abuts the property subject to the environmental covenant; and\n(6) Any other person the agency requires.\n(b) The validity of an environmental covenant shall not be affected by failure to provide a copy of the covenant as required under this Code section.","path":["TITLE 44 Property","CHAPTER 16 Uniform Environmental Covenants"],"source_url":"https://archive.org/download/gov.ga.ocga.2018/release86.2022.11/gov.ga.ocga.title.44.odt","current_through":"Release 86 (2022-11)","vintage":"Public.Resource.Org bulk O.C.G.A., Release 86 (2022-11), retrieved 2026-09-17","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T19:34:57Z","sha256":"8f247860c2710fc8e3023d9a63017349a570191e8af328c569d0ba1364d2f882","source_id":"us-ga","stale":false,"prev":"us-ga/o.c.g.a.-44-16-6","next":"us-ga/o.c.g.a.-44-16-8"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
