{"data":{"id":"us-ga/o.c.g.a.-44-3-166","jurisdiction":"us-ga","citation":"O.C.G.A. § 44-3-166","heading":"Contents and recording of project and time-share instruments.","body":"(a) Project instruments and time-share instruments creating time-share estates located in the State of Georgia shall be recorded in the superior court of the county in which the project is located and shall contain the following:\n(1) The name of the county in which the property is situated;\n(2) The legal description, street address, or other description sufficient to identify the property;\n(3) Identification of time periods by letter, name, number, or combination thereof;\n(4) Identification of time-share estates and, where applicable, the method whereby additional time-share estates may be created;\n(5) The formula, fraction, or percentage of the common expenses and any voting rights assigned to each time-share estate and, where applicable, to each unit in a project that is not subject to the time-share program;\n(6) Any restrictions on the use, occupancy, alteration, or alienation of time-share intervals; and\n(7) The ownership interest, if any, in personal property and provisions for care and replacement.\n(b) For time-share projects located outside the State of Georgia, project instruments therefor shall be recorded as required by the law of the jurisdiction in which such time-share project is located.","path":["TITLE 44 Property","CHAPTER 3 Regulation of Specialized Land Transactions","Article 5 Time-Share Projects and Programs","PART 2 Administration"],"source_url":"https://archive.org/download/gov.ga.ocga.2018/release86.2022.11/gov.ga.ocga.title.44.odt","current_through":"Release 86 (2022-11)","vintage":"Public.Resource.Org bulk O.C.G.A., Release 86 (2022-11), retrieved 2026-09-17","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T19:34:57Z","sha256":"5a7db4ed740312516608abdf2c1534016d14d408faedba6a984aba65dad484eb","source_id":"us-ga","stale":false,"prev":"us-ga/o.c.g.a.-44-3-165","next":"us-ga/o.c.g.a.-44-3-167"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
