{"data":{"id":"us-ga/o.c.g.a.-44-6-188","jurisdiction":"us-ga","citation":"O.C.G.A. § 44-6-188","heading":"Obligation of brokers to court; reporting requirements.","body":"(a) A broker appointed under subsection (b) of Code Section 44-6-187 to offer heirs property for open-market sale shall file a report with the court not later than seven days after receiving an offer to purchase the property for at least the value determined under Code Section 44-6-184 or 44-6-187.\n(b) The report required by subsection (a) of this Code section shall contain the following information:\n(1) A description of the property to be sold to each buyer;\n(2) The name of each buyer;\n(3) The proposed purchase price;\n(4) The terms and conditions of the proposed sale, including the terms of any owner financing;\n(5) The amounts to be paid to lienholders;\n(6) A statement of contractual or other arrangements or conditions of the broker’s commission; and\n(7) Other material facts relevant to the sale.","path":["TITLE 44 Property","CHAPTER 6 Estates","Article 7 Tenancy in Common","PART 2 Partition","Subpart 3 Uniform Partition of Heirs Property"],"source_url":"https://archive.org/download/gov.ga.ocga.2018/release86.2022.11/gov.ga.ocga.title.44.odt","current_through":"Release 86 (2022-11)","vintage":"Public.Resource.Org bulk O.C.G.A., Release 86 (2022-11), retrieved 2026-09-17","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T19:34:57Z","sha256":"2f560275223970c92ca63cf7bcc8fe140f018d8a010c53a220e2e185f5f47d40","source_id":"us-ga","stale":false,"prev":"us-ga/o.c.g.a.-44-6-187","next":"us-ga/o.c.g.a.-44-6-189"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
