Applicants must have all of the following qualifications:\n(a) Licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist:\n(1) transcripts from an approved school of respiratory therapy, evidencing the successful completion of a two (2) year program, resulting in a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy;\n(2) current certification as a RRT by the National Board for Respiratory Care; or\n(3) have obtained RRT status from the National Board for Respiratory Care prior to January 1, 2004.\n(b) Licensed Certified Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician:\n(1) transcripts from an approved school of respiratory therapy, evidencing the successful completion of a one (1) year program; and\n(2) current certification as a Certified Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care; or\n(3) have obtained certification as a Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician by the National Board of Respiratory Care before July 1, 1999.","path":["Title 10: Health and Safety","Division 1 - Public Health","Chapter 12: Medical Practices: Part 2: Articles 11 - 26","PART 2","ARTICLE 20: RESPIRATORY THERAPY"],"source_url":"https://col.guamcourts.gov/sites/default/files/10gc012-2_0.pdf","current_through":"P.L. 38-133 (June 4, 2026)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-27T02:54:58Z","sha256":"9765cbae4fa0888f31a072060d7533f64a87f990e91075ed3b5823967f62f014","source_id":"us-gu","stale":false,"prev":"us-gu/10-gca-122001","next":"us-gu/10-gca-122002.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
