{"data":{"id":"us-gu/10-gca-122508","jurisdiction":"us-gu","citation":"10 GCA § 122508","heading":"License Classification.","body":"(a) Licenses for medical cannabis businesses are non-transferable.\n(b) All licensed medical cannabis businesses permitted in this Act shall retain at least fifty-one percent (51%) ownership by legal residents of Guam who have maintained continuous legal residential address or addresses on Guam for a period of no less than three (3) years prior to the application for a medical cannabis business license. The DRT Business License Division shall verify such requirement.\n(c) The DPHSS shall issue the following types of medical cannabis licenses:\n(1) Type 1 Commercial Cultivation License for cultivation of less than or equal to two thousand five hundred (2,500) square feet of canopy on a single premises;\n(2) Type 2 Commercial Cultivation License for cultivation of two thousand five hundred one (2,501) to five thousand (5,000) square feet of canopy on a single premises;\n(3) Type 3 Commercial Cultivation License for cultivation of five thousand one (5,001) to ten thousand (10,000) square feet of canopy on a single premises;\n(4) Commercial Manufacturing Facility License;\n(5) Medical Cannabis Dispensary License; and\n(6) Medical Cannabis Testing Laboratory License.\n(d) The DRT Business License Section shall issue the following types of medical cannabis business licenses:\n(1) Commercial Cultivation Business License;\n(2) Commercial Manufacturing Facility Business License;\n(3) Medical Cannabis Dispensary Business License; or\n(4) Medical Cannabis Testing Laboratory Business License.","path":["Title 10: Health and Safety","Division 1 - Public Health","Chapter 12: Medical Practices: Part 2: Articles 11 - 26","PART 2","ARTICLE 25: THE JOAQUIN (KC) CONCEPCION II COMPASSIONATE CANNABIS USE ACT OF 2013"],"source_url":"https://col.guamcourts.gov/sites/default/files/10gc012-2_0.pdf","current_through":"P.L. 38-133 (June 4, 2026)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-27T02:54:58Z","sha256":"828a294b39ef336b14c5d15c309336a19cd73bbfb273eac6956b07fb40253715","source_id":"us-gu","stale":false,"prev":"us-gu/10-gca-122507","next":"us-gu/10-gca-122509"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
