{"data":{"id":"us-gu/10-gca-12902","jurisdiction":"us-gu","citation":"10 GCA § 12902","heading":"Qualifications for Licensure.","body":"(a) In addition to the requirements set forth by the Board and in this Article, an applicant for a license to practice acupuncture and oriental medicine must have:\n(1) successfully completed a master’s or doctorate degree program, or its equivalent, program of study in acupuncture and oriental medicine at an accredited school in the United States of America;\n(2) passed an investigation of his or her background and personal history conducted by the Board; and\n(3) passed the examinations required in the following Section.\n(b) The applicant has:\n(1) successfully completed a four (4)-year program of study, or its equivalent as determined by the Board, in acupuncture and oriental medicine at a school or college of oriental medicine approved by the Board;\n(2) passed an investigation of his or her background and personal history conducted by the Board; and\n(3) passed the examinations required in the following Section.","path":["Title 10: Health and Safety","Division 1 - Public Health","Chapter 12: Medical Practices: Part 1: Articles 1 - 10","PART 1","ARTICLE 9: ACUPUNCTURE"],"source_url":"https://col.guamcourts.gov/sites/default/files/10gc012-1_0.pdf","current_through":"P.L. 38-133 (June 4, 2026)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-27T02:54:48Z","sha256":"ecee736fc2e3f2cc50c9cfa7f97764f41e0896797f8661ce74298279082d244d","source_id":"us-gu","stale":false,"prev":"us-gu/10-gca-12901","next":"us-gu/10-gca-12902.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
