{"data":{"id":"us-gu/10-gca-21005","jurisdiction":"us-gu","citation":"10 GCA § 21005","heading":"Failure to Report.","body":"Any person required by Subsections (a) and (b) of § 2952 to report a case of suspected elderly or adult with a disability abuse who fails to so report shall be liable for a fine of not more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), except that for a second or subsequent offense, such person shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. Fines shall be deposited in the manner prescribed in § 2954(a), infra.\n(a) There is hereby created, separate and apart from other funds of the government of Guam, a fund known as the Bureau of Adult Protective Services Fund (Fund).\n(b) The Fund shall not be commingled with the General Fund, is exempt from I Maga’håga/Maga’låhi’s transfer authority and shall be kept in a separate bank account, and is not subject to fiscal constraints or limitations, such as a reserve account.\n(c) All funds collected shall be expended exclusively for purposes used to support the operations of the Bureau of Adult Protective Services.","path":["Title 10: Health and Safety","Division 1 - Public Health","Chapter 2: Division of Public Welfare","ARTICLE 10: ADULT PROTECTIVE SERVICES"],"source_url":"https://col.guamcourts.gov/sites/default/files/10gc002.pdf","current_through":"P.L. 38-133 (June 4, 2026)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-27T02:52:58Z","sha256":"b62a0171afd0acdf638158326c97d84a202ab7bd26761fa1bfc32638f86a76aa","source_id":"us-gu","stale":false,"prev":"us-gu/10-gca-21004","next":"us-gu/10-gca-21006"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
