{"data":{"id":"us-gu/10-gca-58111","jurisdiction":"us-gu","citation":"10 GCA § 58111","heading":"Penalty.","body":"(a) Violation of any provision of this Chapter is a civil violation.\n(b) Each violation shall be subject to the following penalties:\n(1) First Offense shall be subject to a penalty of up to $100;\n(2) Second Offense of the same fire code provision within a 12-month period shall be subject to a penalty of up to $400, but not less than $100;\n(3) Third Offense of the same fire code provision within a 12-month period shall be subject to a penalty of no less than $1,000;\n(4) Fourth Offense of the same fire code provision within a 12-month period shall be punishable as a misdemeanor and the business license shall be suspended for up to 1 year or until the violation has been cured.\n(c) All fines shall be deposited into the Fire, Life and Medical Emergency Fund (FLAME) pursuant to § 72106, Chapter 72, 10 GCA.","path":["Title 10: Health and Safety","Division 3 - Public Safety","Chapter 58: Fire Prevention"],"source_url":"https://col.guamcourts.gov/sites/default/files/10gc058.pdf","current_through":"P.L. 38-133 (June 4, 2026)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-27T03:03:08Z","sha256":"a0ca40c1d67f6f4abc6e82087c495ce09f84a4a84f37b40a847d5bc341b3bd34","source_id":"us-gu","stale":false,"prev":"us-gu/10-gca-58110","next":"us-gu/10-gca-58112"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
