{"data":{"id":"us-gu/14-gca-3602","jurisdiction":"us-gu","citation":"14 GCA § 3602","heading":"Loan Finance Charge for Certain Loans to Individuals.","body":"(1) With respect to a loan other than a consumer loan, the parties may contract for the payment by the debtor of a loan finance charge not in excess of that permitted by this Section if:\n(a) the principal is Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00), or less; and\n(b) the debtor is either (i) a person other than an organization or (ii) an organization if the debt is secured primarily by a security interest in one (1) or two (2) family dwelling occupied by a person related to the organization.\n(2) With respect to a loan other than one pursuant to a revolving loan account the parties may contract for the payment by the debtor of a loan finance charge not in excess of twenty-four percent (24%) per year calculated on the unpaid balances of the principal according to the United States rule.\n(3) With respect to a loan pursuant to a revolving loan account, the parties may contract for the payment by the debtor of a loan finance charge not in excess of that permitted by the provisions on loan finance charge for revolving loan accounts (§ 3509).\n(4) The amount of Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) in Subsection (1) is subject to change pursuant to the provisions on adjust-ment of dollar amounts (§ 1106).","path":["Title 14: Uniform Consumer Credit Code","Chapter 3: Loans","ARTICLE 6: LOANS OTHER THAN CONSUMER LOANS"],"source_url":"https://col.guamcourts.gov/sites/default/files/14gc003.pdf","current_through":"P.L. 38-133 (June 4, 2026)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-27T03:29:38Z","sha256":"82c90f43ec11783c3b1f1e020b16421d56766989f284737463c4cf86759af58a","source_id":"us-gu","stale":false,"prev":"us-gu/14-gca-3601","next":"us-gu/14-gca-3603"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
