{"data":{"id":"us-gu/17-gca-7113","jurisdiction":"us-gu","citation":"17 GCA § 7113","heading":"Limitations on Capacity Levels for the Construction of New Public Schools.","body":"(a) All public schools built on Guam shall be designed and constructed for student enrollment capacity limits as follows:\n(1) Elementary Schools: not to exceed eight hundred (800) students;\n(2) Middle Schools: not to exceed one thousand one hundred twenty (1,120) students; and\n(3) High Schools: not to exceed one thousand seven hundred (1,700) students.\n(b) The school capacity limitations of this Section shall apply only to school projects initiated after September 30, 1997.\n(c) The Department may, subject to the approval of the Guam Education Policy Board, exceed the capacity limits set forth in this Section provided that such adjustment would not endanger student and employee health and safety.\n(d) These provisions shall not apply to school campuses that are temporarily used for double sessions.","path":["Title 17: Education","Division 2 - Department of Education","Chapter 7: Physical Plant"],"source_url":"https://col.guamcourts.gov/sites/default/files/17gc007.pdf","current_through":"P.L. 38-133 (June 4, 2026)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-27T03:43:58Z","sha256":"05ef5e6832c31677f1182f1b1fa6d950728edd8040f4bb2069ac3da375712ce2","source_id":"us-gu","stale":false,"prev":"us-gu/17-gca-7112.1","next":"us-gu/17-gca-7114"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
