{"data":{"id":"us-gu/21-gca-60114","jurisdiction":"us-gu","citation":"21 GCA § 60114","heading":"Provision for Leasing of Government Owned Property for Commercial Purposes.","body":"(a) Notwithstanding any provision of law, rule or regulation to the contrary, the government of Guam is authorized to lease government-owned property for a term not exceeding fifty (50) years for commercial purposes.\n(b) No portion of the leased land shall be sub-leased without the written consent of the Governor, approved as to form by the Attorney General and approved by the Legislature as provided in § 60112 of this Article.\n(c) All leases shall be executed by the Governor, attested by the Lieutenant Governor and be approved as to form by the Attorney General.\n(d) A copy of every executed lease shall be filed with the Department of Administration.\n(e) The lease shall be approved by the Legislature as provided in § 60112 of this Article.","path":["Title 21: Real Property","Division 2 - Regulation of Real Property Uses","Chapter 60: Land Management","ARTICLE 1: GENERAL PROVISIONS"],"source_url":"https://col.guamcourts.gov/sites/default/files/21gc060.pdf","current_through":"P.L. 38-133 (June 4, 2026)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-27T04:12:38Z","sha256":"30f27d2217ea8ff9b5a9d60ad2fc64341a6469cb5835fb8c2237d55a6896141f","source_id":"us-gu","stale":false,"prev":"us-gu/21-gca-60113","next":"us-gu/21-gca-60114.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
