{"data":{"id":"us-gu/22-gca-18309","jurisdiction":"us-gu","citation":"22 GCA § 18309","heading":"Coinsurance Clause Explanation.","body":"Where a policy contains a coinsurance clause, the insurer shall notify the policy-holder of its existence, such notification to include the following information:\n(a) The name of the Insured;\n(b) The policy number of the policy and the effective date thereof;\n(c) The following notice in type of which the face is not smaller than six (6) points:\n“Important, this policy contains a\ncoinsurance clause. If the amount of insurance\npurchased is not equal to the cash or replacement\ncost of your insured property then the settlement\nyou received arising from future losses will not be\nsufficient to replace the loss you have suffered.
