{"data":{"id":"us-gu/7-gca-9105","jurisdiction":"us-gu","citation":"7 GCA § 9105","heading":"Fees and Solicitation.","body":"(a) The measure of compensation of persons authorized to practice law is left to the express or implied agreement of the parties, subject to the regulation of the Supreme Court.\n(b) Any agreement for such compensation or for reimbursement of any expenses incident to the prosecution or defense of any claim by any party is wholly void if such professional employment was solicited by the person authorized to practice law or by any other person acting on his or her behalf or at his or her request, unless the services of such person authorized to practice law on Guam are first requested by such party.
