{"data":{"id":"us-gu/9-gca-61.35","jurisdiction":"us-gu","citation":"9 GCA § 61.35","heading":"Obstructing the Public Ways; Defined \u0026 Punished.","body":"(a) A person commits a petty misdemeanor if he or she unreasonably obstructs the free passage of foot or vehicular traffic on any public way, and refuses to cease or remove the obstruction upon a lawful order to do so given him by a law enforcement officer.\n(b) A person commits a petty misdemeanor if he unreasonably obstructs the free passage of foot or vehicular traffic on any public way for the purpose of handbilling as defined by Title 16 GCA Section 3701 or for soliciting as defined by Title 16 GCA Section 3341.\n(c) As used in this Section, public way means any public highway or sidewalk, private way laid out under authority of statute, way dedicated to public use, or way upon which the public has a right of access or has access as invitees or licensees.","path":["Title 9: Crimes and Corrections","Chapter 61: Riot, Disorderly Conduct and Related Offenses"],"source_url":"https://col.guamcourts.gov/sites/default/files/9gc061.pdf","current_through":"P.L. 38-133 (June 4, 2026)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-27T02:49:08Z","sha256":"2b8e2edc22cc7b3cc25dda22c4d13dae1f23a92721856a4e7674208fb8cd75b9","source_id":"us-gu","stale":false,"prev":"us-gu/9-gca-61.30","next":"us-gu/9-gca-61.40"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
