{"data":{"id":"us-gu/9-gca-92110","jurisdiction":"us-gu","citation":"9 GCA § 92110","heading":"Vehicular Homicide: Felony Punishment.","body":"(a) A person is guilty of vehicular homicide if he or she does any act forbidden by law in operating or driving a vehicle, or if he or she negligently operates or drives a vehicle, which act or negligence proximately causes death to any person other than himself or herself.\n(b) Vehicular homicide while driving a vehicle is a felony of the second degree, and notwithstanding any other provision of law, shall be sentenced as follows:\n(1) A term of incarceration not to exceed eight (8) years.\n(2) A fine not to exceed Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000).\n(3) Revocation of a person’s driving privilege for five (5) years without occupational driving privileges.\n(4) The court shall notify the Department of Revenue and Taxation of each conviction of this Section.","path":["Title 9: Crimes and Corrections","Chapter 92: Safe Streets Act of 2018","ARTICLE 1: OFFENSES INVOLVING ALCOHOL AND CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES"],"source_url":"https://col.guamcourts.gov/sites/default/files/9gc092.pdf","current_through":"P.L. 38-133 (June 4, 2026)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-27T02:52:08Z","sha256":"5126fd59a76e5bedc3063e7d9ee0419ca0c64ad6518f786dac1958d4a68a9ebe","source_id":"us-gu","stale":false,"prev":"us-gu/9-gca-92109","next":"us-gu/9-gca-92111"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
