Stat. § 148-67","heading":"Seal of quality special fund.","body":"(a) There is established in the state treasury the seal of quality special fund, into which shall be deposited:\n\n(1) All revenues from the operations of the seal of quality program established under section 148-61;\n\n(2) Fines collected under section 148-66; and\n\n(3) Any appropriations made by the legislature to the fund.\n\n(b) Moneys in the special fund may be expended for all costs associated with the seal of quality program, including:\n\n(1) Conducting trade shows, retail shows, conferences, seminars, and other promotional activities;\n\n(2) Expenses for designs, program labels, items and materials, displays, brochures, media advertisements, inspection, and review and investigative activities relating to application and enforcement of the program;\n\n(3) Printing, mailing, airfare and per diem, lei, decors, rental of facilities and audio visual equipment, display and booth fees, participation fees, general supplies; and\n\n(4) Any other expense necessary to administer the program.","path":["HI Code","Division 1","Title 11","Chapter 148"],"source_url":"http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/hrscurrent/Vol03_Ch0121-0200D/HRS0148/HRS_0148-0067.htm","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:11Z","sha256":"b055f029550bd46a8ae8434ea31fccfbc3f077bbb94940d20d99c0e9a52578e8","source_id":"us-hi","stale":false,"prev":"us-hi/haw.-rev.-stat.-148-66","next":"us-hi/haw.-rev.-stat.-149a-12"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
