Stat. § 166-5","heading":"Joint ventures.","body":"Any agricultural park developed by the department in partnership with a federal agency, a county, or a private party shall be subject to a partnership agreement approved by the board of agriculture and biosecurity, which agreement shall provide, at a minimum:\n\n(1) A determination by the board that it is in the public interest to enter into the partnership agreement;\n\n(2) Long-term assurance that the land will be utilized for agricultural or aquacultural purposes;\n\n(3) Board approval of the agricultural park development plans and specifications;\n\n(4) Selection and management of lessees in a manner approved by the board; and\n\n(5) Conditions to ensure a public benefit from any state funds expended for the project.","path":["HI Code","Division 1","Title 11","Chapter 166"],"source_url":"http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/hrscurrent/Vol03_Ch0121-0200D/HRS0166/HRS_0166-0005.htm","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:11Z","sha256":"f25d85d932f5bb1f397e7148420a606de95e0f2b37541dc3eaee6923319c6721","source_id":"us-hi","stale":false,"prev":"us-hi/haw.-rev.-stat.-166-4","next":"us-hi/haw.-rev.-stat.-166-6"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
