Stat. § 202-4","heading":"Duties of chairperson and executive director.","body":"The chairperson of the workforce development council or the executive director, at the direction of the council shall:\n\n(1) Serve as consultant to the governor on issues relating to workforce development and its relation to economic development and diversification;\n\n(2) Assist in coordinating the programs of all agencies dealing with issues of concern to the council;\n\n(3) Arrange for statewide studies of the issues referred to in this chapter;\n\n(4) Secure data and information from agencies concerned with the issues referred to in this chapter;\n\n(5) Arrange for the exchange of information, plans, and programs between public and private groups interested in the issues referred to in this chapter;\n\n(6) Prepare articles, reports, and bulletins for the use of the council, concerned agencies, and for general publication;\n\n(7) Keep and maintain records and reports and handle correspondence relative to the work of the council;\n\n(8) Develop recommendations and plans for action consistent with the purpose of this chapter; and\n\n(9) Assist in carrying out the duties described in section 202-2.","path":["HI Code","Division 1","Title 13","Chapter 202"],"source_url":"http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/hrscurrent/Vol04_Ch0201-0257/HRS0202/HRS_0202-0004.htm","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:11Z","sha256":"2f0fc4a84324ea33d7015c8934befb67296e6c25dba48cc765d6d12b38a1c038","source_id":"us-hi","stale":false,"prev":"us-hi/haw.-rev.-stat.-202-3","next":"us-hi/haw.-rev.-stat.-202-5"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
