Stat. § 291C-46","heading":"Further limitation on driving on left of center of roadway.","body":"(a) No vehicle shall be driven to the left side of the roadway under the following conditions:\n\n(1) When approaching or upon the crest of a grade or a curve in the highway where the driver's view is obstructed within such distance as to create a hazard in the event another vehicle might approach from the opposite direction;\n\n(2) When approaching within one hundred feet of or traversing any intersection or railroad grade crossing;\n\n(3) When the view is obstructed upon approaching within one hundred feet of any bridge, viaduct, or tunnel.\n\n(b) The foregoing limitations shall not apply upon a one-way roadway, nor under the conditions described in section 291C-41(a)(2), nor to the driver of a vehicle turning left into or from an alley, private road, or driveway.","path":["HI Code","Division 1","Title 17","Chapter 291C"],"source_url":"http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/hrscurrent/Vol05_Ch0261-0319/HRS0291C/HRS_0291C-0046.htm","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:11Z","sha256":"542bf6e006b661758a029bb29853643807947261caa6507f4cabc512ee0fed6b","source_id":"us-hi","stale":false,"prev":"us-hi/haw.-rev.-stat.-291c-45","next":"us-hi/haw.-rev.-stat.-291c-47"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
