Stat. § 321-34","heading":"Cytomegalovirus public education.","body":"(a) The department of health shall provide public education to inform pregnant women and women who may become pregnant regarding:\n\n(1) The transmission of the cytomegalovirus to pregnant women and women who may become pregnant;\n\n(2) Birth defects caused by congenital cytomegalovirus;\n\n(3) Methods of diagnosing congenital cytomegalovirus; and\n\n(4) Available preventative measures.\n\n(b) The department of health shall provide the information described in subsection (a) to:\n\n(1) Hospitals licensed pursuant to section 321-14.5;\n\n(2) Health care providers offering care to pregnant women and infants;\n\n(3) Registered family child care homes;\n\n(4) Licensed group child care centers;\n\n(5) Licensed group child care homes;\n\n(6) Licensed infant and toddler child care centers; and\n\n(7) Religious, ecclesiastical, or denominational organizations offering children's programs as a part of worship services.","path":["HI Code","Division 1","Title 19","Chapter 321"],"source_url":"http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/hrscurrent/Vol06_Ch0321-0344/HRS0321/HRS_0321-0034.htm","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:11Z","sha256":"8b4882b9f6df8026a935468d82bf68a14b39dfc0ba1c4c88d1d206dea30a104e","source_id":"us-hi","stale":false,"prev":"us-hi/haw.-rev.-stat.-321-33","next":"us-hi/haw.-rev.-stat.-321-342"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
