Stat. § 342G-25","heading":"Contents of county integrated solid waste management plans.","body":"(a) Each county plan and subsequent revision shall include:\n\n(1) A program element; and\n\n(2) A facility capacity and siting element.\n\nA county may include additional elements at its discretion.\n\n(b) The program element shall include at a minimum:\n\n(1) A waste stream assessment component;\n\n(2) A source reduction component;\n\n(3) A recycling and bioconversion component;\n\n(4) An energy-balance component;\n\n(5) A special waste component;\n\n(6) A household hazardous waste component;\n\n(7) A public education and information component;\n\n(8) A landfill and incineration component;\n\n(9) A marketing and procurement of materials component;\n\n(10) A program implementation component; and\n\n(11) A program funding component.\n\n(c) The facility capacity and siting element shall include at a minimum:\n\n(1) An existing capacity and future needs component;\n\n(2) A facility implementation component; and\n\n(3) An enterprise zone component.","path":["HI Code","Division 1","Title 19","Chapter 342G"],"source_url":"http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/hrscurrent/Vol06_Ch0321-0344/HRS0342G/HRS_0342G-0025.htm","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:11Z","sha256":"3e6bf235b0fd538179d59b89c5e58766de47ba5e7fd695fd89a98b8e223c1adc","source_id":"us-hi","stale":false,"prev":"us-hi/haw.-rev.-stat.-342g-24","next":"us-hi/haw.-rev.-stat.-342g-26"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
