Stat. § 342P-7","heading":"Noise, radiation, and indoor air quality special fund; established.","body":"(a) There is established within the department of health a noise, radiation, and indoor air quality special fund into which shall be deposited all moneys collected from fees for permits, licenses, inspections, certificates, notifications, variances, investigations, and review, pursuant to sections 342F-14, 342P-28, 466J-4, and 466J-5.\n\n(b) Moneys in the fund shall be expended by the department to:\n\n(1) Partially fund the operating costs of the program mandated activities and functions;\n\n(2) Fund statewide education, demonstration, and outreach programs;\n\n(3) Provide training opportunities to ensure the maintenance of professional competence among staff and administrators; and\n\n(4) Plan for future growth and expansion to meet emerging needs.","path":["HI Code","Division 1","Title 19","Chapter 342P"],"source_url":"http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/hrscurrent/Vol06_Ch0321-0344/HRS0342P/HRS_0342P-0007.htm","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:11Z","sha256":"7a43d670df3fb24bffdf18e50d0192fa08874da3d103fd56b18656b204b86f9e","source_id":"us-hi","stale":false,"prev":"us-hi/haw.-rev.-stat.-342p-6","next":"us-hi/haw.-rev.-stat.-342p-8"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
