Stat. § 412:5-404","heading":"Termination of authority of intra-Pacific bank.","body":"The authority of any intra-Pacific bank to engage in the business of a bank in this State pursuant to this part shall automatically terminate at such time as it no longer meets the definition of an intra-Pacific bank under section 412:5-400. In such case it shall:\n\n(1) Immediately notify the commissioner of that circumstance;\n\n(2) Cease accepting deposits in this State, and cease making loans and investments in this State;\n\n(3) Within thirty days, adopt a plan for the orderly liquidation of its assets, or its orderly divestiture pursuant to this chapter, and submit such plan to the commissioner; and\n\n(4) Take such other measures and actions as shall be directed by the commissioner.","path":["Hawaii Code","Division 2","Title 22","Chapter 412"],"source_url":"http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/hrscurrent/Vol08_Ch0401-0429/HRS0412/HRS_0412-0005-0404.htm","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:11Z","sha256":"9dc1360113b67d4043514eff06d79ecdae65880f561d8ff85b6835f2e4901664","source_id":"us-hi","stale":false,"prev":"us-hi/haw.-rev.-stat.-412-5-403","next":"us-hi/haw.-rev.-stat.-412-5-405"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
