Stat. § 425R-7","heading":"Change of registered agent by entity.","body":"(a) A represented entity may change the information currently on file under section 425R-4(a) by filing with the director a certified statement of change signed on behalf of the entity that states the:\n\n(1) Name of the entity; and\n\n(2) Information that is to be in effect as a result of the filing of the statement of change.\n\n(b) Interest holders or governors of a domestic entity need not approve the filing of a:\n\n(1) Statement of change under this section; or\n\n(2) Similar filing changing the registered agent or registered office of the entity in any other jurisdiction.\n\n(c) The appointment of a registered agent pursuant to subsection (a) is an affirmation by the represented entity that the agent has consented to serve as such.\n\n(d) A statement of change filed under this section takes effect on filing.","path":["HI Code","Division 2","Title 23","Chapter 425R"],"source_url":"http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/hrscurrent/Vol08_Ch0401-0429/HRS0425R/HRS_0425R-0007.htm","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:11Z","sha256":"7b1d080512411e976270f67c33deb3ead35c50e475c166ac50fd1be0d21c7b1e","source_id":"us-hi","stale":false,"prev":"us-hi/haw.-rev.-stat.-425r-6","next":"us-hi/haw.-rev.-stat.-425r-8"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
