Stat. § 431:4-415","heading":"Subscribers' advisory committee.","body":"(a) The advisory committee of a domestic reciprocal insurer exercising the subscribers' rights shall be selected under such rules as the subscribers adopt.\n\n(b) Not less than three-fourths of the committee shall be composed of subscribers other than the attorney, or any person employed by, representing, or having a financial interest in the attorney.\n\n(c) The committee shall:\n\n(1) Supervise the finances of the insurer;\n\n(2) Supervise the insurer's operations to such extent as to assure their conformity with the subscribers' agreement and power of attorney;\n\n(3) Procure the audit of the accounts and records of the insurer and of the attorney at the expense of the insurer; and\n\n(4) Have such additional powers and functions as may be conferred by the subscribers' agreement.","path":["Hawaii Code","Division 2","Title 24","Chapter 431"],"source_url":"http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/hrscurrent/Vol09_Ch0431-0435H/HRS0431/HRS_0431-0004-0415.htm","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:11Z","sha256":"09887c662e04156edd4db703a6745b4d2082cec89486b1b79f7217e2da337129","source_id":"us-hi","stale":false,"prev":"us-hi/haw.-rev.-stat.-431-4-414","next":"us-hi/haw.-rev.-stat.-431-4-416"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
