Stat. § 436E-10","heading":"Revocation or suspension of licenses.","body":"In addition to any other actions authorized by law, any license to practice acupuncture under this chapter may be revoked or suspended by the board of acupuncture at any time in a proceeding before the board for any cause authorized by law, including but not limited to the following:\n\n(1) Obtaining a fee on the assurance that a manifestly incurable ailment can be permanently cured;\n\n(2) The use of false, fraudulent, or deceptive advertising and making untruthful and improbable statements;\n\n(3) Habitually using any habit-forming controlled substance, such as opium or any of its derivatives, morphine, heroin, or cocaine;\n\n(4) Procuring a license through fraud, misrepresentation, or deceit;\n\n(5) Professional misconduct or gross carelessness or manifest incapacity in the practice of acupuncture; or\n\n(6) Violating any rules adopted under this chapter.","path":["HI Code","Division 2","Title 25","Chapter 436E"],"source_url":"http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/hrscurrent/Vol10_Ch0436-0474/HRS0436E/HRS_0436E-0010.htm","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:11Z","sha256":"f7e0493a4bc4466baee50be7aa9ca8c6a60d151b3ebd1ff27d97d62709cb41b4","source_id":"us-hi","stale":false,"prev":"us-hi/haw.-rev.-stat.-436e-1","next":"us-hi/haw.-rev.-stat.-436e-10.5"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
