The committee shall consist of five members appointed by the governor as provided in section 26-34.\n\nThe committee shall advise:\n\n(1) The director, cable operators, and access organizations on matters within the jurisdiction of this chapter at the request of the director, any cable operator, or any access organization; and\n\n(2) The director on any decision designating, modifying, or rescinding a designation of an access organization or the requirements therefor, as provided in section 440G-8.3.\n\n(b) The members of the committee shall serve without pay but shall be entitled to reimbursement for necessary expenses while attending meetings and while in discharge of their duties.","path":["HI Code","Division 2","Title 25","Chapter 440G"],"source_url":"http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/hrscurrent/Vol10_Ch0436-0474/HRS0440G/HRS_0440G-0013.htm","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:11Z","sha256":"639a7edabe24826b50f95ed564cd1fcccd0c36c7e15fb82279a77895a9203c2d","source_id":"us-hi","stale":false,"prev":"us-hi/haw.-rev.-stat.-440g-12","next":"us-hi/haw.-rev.-stat.-440g-14"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
