Stat. § 490:13-102","heading":"Definitions.","body":"(a) In this article:\n\n\"Adjustment date\" means July 1, 2025, or the date that is one year after June 29, 2023, whichever is later.\n\n\"Article 12 property\" means a controllable account, controllable electronic record, or controllable payment intangible.\n\n(b) The following definitions in other articles of this chapter shall apply to this article:\n\n\"Controllable account\". Section 490:9-102.\n\n\"Controllable electronic record\". Section 490:12-102.\n\n\"Controllable payment intangible\". Section 490:9-102.\n\n\"Electronic money\". Section 490:9-102.\n\n\"Financing statement\". Section 490:9-102.\n\n(c) Article 1 contains general definitions and principles of construction and interpretation applicable throughout this article.
