Stat. § 514B-67","heading":"Termination of registration.","body":"(a) The commission, after notice and hearing, may issue an order terminating the registration of a condominium project upon determination that a developer, or any officer, principal, or affiliate of a developer has:\n\n(1) Failed to comply with a cease and desist order issued by the commission affecting that condominium project;\n\n(2) Concealed, diverted, or disposed of any funds or assets of any person in a manner impairing rights of purchasers of units in that condominium project;\n\n(3) Failed to perform any stipulation or agreement made to induce the commission to issue an order relating to that condominium project;\n\n(4) Misrepresented or failed to disclose a material fact in the application for registration;\n\n(5) Failed to meet any of the conditions described in this part necessary to qualify for registration; or\n\n(6) Failed to conform or comply with county zoning and development ordinances as required by chapter 205, including section 205-4.6 where applicable, and section 514B-5.\n\n(b) A developer may not convey, cause to be conveyed, or contract for the conveyance of any interest in a unit while an order revoking the registration of the condominium project is in effect, without the consent of the commission.\n\n(c) The commission may issue a cease and desist order in lieu of an order of revocation where appropriate.","path":["HI Code","Division 3","Title 28","Chapter 514B"],"source_url":"http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/hrscurrent/Vol12_Ch0501-0588/HRS0514B/HRS_0514B-0067.htm","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:11Z","sha256":"09e22e9d1545c16dd3a66db71f46cacac23f45691f2e4c08cf33fc786a2ed1a3","source_id":"us-hi","stale":false,"prev":"us-hi/haw.-rev.-stat.-514b-66","next":"us-hi/haw.-rev.-stat.-514b-68"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
