Stat. § 576B-206","heading":"Continuing jurisdiction to enforce child support order.","body":"(a) A tribunal of this State that has issued a child support order consistent with the law of this State may serve as an initiating tribunal to request a tribunal of another state to enforce:\n\n(1) The order if the order is the controlling order and has not been modified by a tribunal of another state that assumed jurisdiction pursuant to the Uniform Interstate Family Support Act; or\n\n(2) A money judgment for arrears of support and interest on the order accrued before a determination that an order of a tribunal of another state is the controlling order.\n\n(b) A tribunal of this State having continuing jurisdiction over a support order may act as a responding tribunal to enforce the order.","path":["HI Code","Division 3","Title 31","Chapter 576B"],"source_url":"http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/hrscurrent/Vol12_Ch0501-0588/HRS0576B/HRS_0576B-0206.htm","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:11Z","sha256":"84bc248f9fb7cc15f3db09b95d53138a97a08d0bf246ccb15ee5a65bfe4d8339","source_id":"us-hi","stale":false,"prev":"us-hi/haw.-rev.-stat.-576b-205","next":"us-hi/haw.-rev.-stat.-576b-207"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
