Stat. § 576E-6","heading":"Request for hearing; how made.","body":"(a) Except as provided in subsection (b), any party who is aggrieved by the proposed order of the agency may, within ten days of service of a notice described in section 576E-5, obtain a hearing by sending a written request for hearing to the agency at the address from which the notice was sent.\n\n(b) In the case of a proposed order to modify child support resulting from the agency's review of support orders, a party aggrieved by the proposed order may request a hearing within thirty days of service of a notice described in section 576E-5.\n\n(c) The agency, on its own behalf, may request a hearing after the commencement of an administrative proceeding pursuant to section 576E-5.\n\n(d) Notice of the hearing under this section shall be served in accordance with section 576E-4.","path":["HI Code","Division 3","Title 31","Chapter 576E"],"source_url":"http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/hrscurrent/Vol12_Ch0501-0588/HRS0576E/HRS_0576E-0006.htm","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:11Z","sha256":"3a3a868304e59271153165c27af6cbf6d70e208c95318ec0538e9c7cbb9bf6af","source_id":"us-hi","stale":false,"prev":"us-hi/haw.-rev.-stat.-576e-5","next":"us-hi/haw.-rev.-stat.-576e-7"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
