Stat. § 846D-3","heading":"Responsibility of agencies.","body":"Agencies that have investigative, detention, custodial, adjudicative, and program responsibility for juveniles shall cooperate with the attorney general in establishing the juvenile justice information system by:\n\n(1) Providing information in the agency files that can be included pursuant to the format approved by the juvenile justice information committee;\n\n(2) Maintaining procedures internally consistent with uniform procedures and guidelines provided by the juvenile justice information committee;\n\n(3) Reporting information to the attorney general that is timely, complete, and accurate, after the occurrence of an event over which the agency had direct responsibility; and\n\n(4) Maintaining procedures for the periodic checking of information to minimize the possibility of storing and maintaining inaccurate information.","path":["HI Code","Division 5","Title 38","Chapter 846D"],"source_url":"http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/hrscurrent/Vol14_Ch0701-0853/HRS0846D/HRS_0846D-0003.htm","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:11Z","sha256":"81584315742698e7696653d5487c6b3df2dec6d7f1b4f4df633d3d798bad8378","source_id":"us-hi","stale":false,"prev":"us-hi/haw.-rev.-stat.-846d-2","next":"us-hi/haw.-rev.-stat.-846d-4"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
