A person shall not profess to be a music therapist or board-certified music therapist or use the initials “MT-BC” or any other words, letters, abbreviations, or insignia indicating or implying that the person is a music therapist unless the person holds and maintains the music therapist board-certified credential granted by the certification board for music therapists.\n2. This chapter does not prohibit a person from using music in the performance of the person’s profession or occupation if the person does not represent that the person is a music therapist.\n3.
