In addition, civil penalties not to exceed twenty-five thousand dollars, may be imposed.\n2. The board may impose an administrative penalty of up to five hundred dollars on a licensee or registrant who does any of the following:\na. Engages in a practice regulated by this chapter without a current license or registration.\nb. Employs a person without a current license or registration to engage in a practice regulated by this chapter.\nc. Fails to complete the continuing education required for renewal of a license or registration.\nd. Fails any component of a routine inspection conducted by the board.\n3.
