If an authorized practitioner prescribes a drug, the pharmacist may exercise professional judgment in the interest of the patient by providing a therapeutic substitution for dispensing and sale to the patient.\n2. The pharmacist shall not provide a therapeutic substitution if “dispense as written” is indicated on the prescription.\n3.
